Calgary Diocesan County Fair – The Palio
Everyone is invited to bring their families and friends to the Palio on September 14, 2013!
What is the Palio? The Palio is an annual family event where you can celebrate Mass with Bishop Henry, enjoy food and games, and watch Italian style horse races, all in a fun andf family friendly atmosphere.
Where is the Palio? The Palio is held at the Strathmore Rodeo Grounds, just east of Calgary.
How do we get tickets? Tickets are on sale following all Masses the weekend of June 15 and 16 near the entrance of the church, and at the Parish Office throughout the summer. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors, and, thanks to a generous donation made by St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus, children accompanied by an adult will be given tickets for FREE!
One more thing… each parish is the Diocese is assigned a horse for the races, and we get to name it! Spend this week with your family coming up with a great name for the horse – ballots will be available following all Masses on the weekend of June 15 and 16, and the family or individual who has their horse’s name drawn will win FREE tickets to the Palio!

Feed The Hungry – June 23, 2013
St. Mary’s Cathedral parish is hosting the Feed the Hungry Program on Sunday, June 23 in our Parish Hall. Please consider volunteering your time to help out! Weekly Offering Options
We appreciate your support of our parish through weekly, monthly, or annual offerings. In addition to our traditional offering envelopes, we are pleased to offer you the option of making your offerings through automatic withdrawals from your debit or credit card.
If you would like to choose this option, please print and complete the St Mary’s Auto Debit Form and return it to the Parish Office. You can also pick up a form at the Information Desk or at the Parish Office. A annual tax receipt will still be issued to you at the end of the year. You can change the amount of offering at any time by calling the Parish Office.
